Welcome to marg.in. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services and the purchase of our monthly suite.
By accessing this website and purchasing our products, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use marg.in's website or services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. The Service
marg.in provides a monthly subscription service (the "Service") consisting of a curated package of physical goods (the "Suite") designed to inspire creativity and introspection. The contents of each Suite are unique to the month and are revealed upon delivery. By subscribing, you agree to receive and pay for the Service on a recurring monthly basis.
2. Subscription and Billing
- Sign-up Cutoff: To receive the current month’s Suite, you must sign up by the 15th of the month. Subscriptions started after the 15th will receive the following month’s Suite as their first shipment.
- Monthly Subscription: Your subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. Your subscription will automatically renew each month without notice until you cancel.
- Billing Cycle: You are billed on the same day each month that you initially subscribed. If you join between the 16th and 20th, there may be a short overlap in payments before your first Suite arrives; rest assured every transaction corresponds to a unique monthly Suite.
- Pricing: The price for the monthly suite is $18 USD per month, plus any applicable taxes. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at our discretion with prior notice.
3. Address Changes
Please ensure your shipping address is correct in the customer portal. Address changes must be completed by the 15th of the month to take effect for that month's shipment. We are not responsible for Suites delivered to an old address if it was not updated by this deadline.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Please see our Cancellation Policy for detailed instructions. To avoid being charged for the next month's Suite, you must cancel your subscription before your monthly billing date. Canceling stops future charges but does not refund a Suite that has already been billed or processed.
5. Intellectual Property
The content, design, and arrangement of the Suites, as well as all materials on our website, are the intellectual property of marg.in. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our Service without our express written permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service and the Suites are provided "as is." We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied. We will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this Service.

Privacy Policy
At marg.in, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information Collection
We collect information you provide directly to us when you subscribe: name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. We use Stripe for secure payment processing and do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
Use of Data
Your data is used solely to fulfill your subscription, process payments, ship your monthly Suite, and send essential communications about your account.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and handle the checkout process. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Third Parties
We do not sell your data. We only share information with third-party service providers (like shipping carriers and payment processors) necessary to fulfill our service to you.
Refund and Return Policy
Due to the limited, handcrafted nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or provide refunds for any Suites you were unsatisfied with.
Damaged Items: If your Suite arrives damaged, please contact us at help@inthemarg.in within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence, and we will address the issue on a case-by-case basis.
Lost Items: To keep marg.in affordable, Suites are mailed via standard letter post and do not include tracking. If your Suite hasn't arrived within 14 business days (US) or 30 business days (International) of the shipping date, please reach out so we can help.
Shipping Policy
Suites are mailed once per month. All envelopes are shipped on the 20th of the month (or the following Monday if the 20th falls on a weekend) to ensure they arrive at your door by the start of the next month.
Method: To keep our service accessible, we use standard postage stamps. This means tracking information is not available for monthly shipments. We appreciate your patience with the postal system as these items travel to you.
Non-Delivery: We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or for lost packages due to incorrect addresses. If a Suite is returned to us, a reshipping fee may apply.
